With its fundraising power, Amundi has the ability to take part in Europe’s major real estate transactions, with over Eur2bn invested every year on average. Around 50% of these investments are carried out in France, while the other half is shared between a select number of European countries and major cities: Germany (Berlin), the United Kingdom (London), Italy (Milan), the Czech Republic (Prague), the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Luxemburg.

A portfolio of offices in Paris
In 2016, we acquired a large pan-European portfolio of office buildings, including three assets located in Ile-de-France, for a total value of Eur750m. The operation was structured as a “club deal”, in which institutional investors were invited to co-invest, alongside Amundi-managed discretionary funds.
The Rotterdam Office and the Towers Hotel
In the second quarter of 2016, an Amundi-managed investors’ club, comprised of a group of Korean investors and an existing Amundi fund, acquired a vast real estate complex in Rotterdam, that included offices, a hotel, a shopping centre and a parking lot. The transaction amounted to close to Eur350m.
